RUH-DICULOUS! It seems as if the world has resorted back to it’s tried and tested habits of using FEAR to control the populace! Well, in Indonesia, the public health authority published hundreds of posters that claimed HIV can be transmitted through mosquito bites, swimming, saliva, food, and sneezing!
Public outcry caused them to be removed immediately, while Senior health ministry official Muhammad Subuh called them “an “honest mistake,” saying the company that printed the posters forgot to print the word “not” and therefore pretty much reversed the sentiment of the campaign.”
Yikes. Pretty crazy (and dangerous) that nobody caught that before they went public!?
